SpectraLinear Introduces Improved Performance Zero-Delay Buffers

Two New Clock Distribution Buffers Offer Improved Pin-Compatible Performance for Industry Standard 2305 and 2309 Zero-Delay Buffers

Santa Clara, CA – August 28, 2007 – SpectraLinear Inc., a leading provider of timing solutions for the consumer, computer and communication markets, today announced the production availability of improved performance, pin-compatible Zero-Delay Buffers (ZDBs). The SL2305 and SL2309 phase-locked loop (PLL) ZDB clock buffers offer low power dissipation, output skew and jitter. The products are used in wide range of applications including routers, switches, servers, HDTVs, set-top boxes, base stations, personal computers, multi-function printers and copiers

Pricing and Availability

The 5-output SL2305 is offered in an 8-pin 150-mil SOIC and 4.4 mm TSSOP packages and priced at $0.67 each in 1,000 unit quantities. The 9-output SL2309 is offered in a 16-pin 150-mil SOIC and 4.4 mm TSSOP packages and priced at $0.76 each in 1,000 unit quantities. Both devices are offered in lead-free packages and are available now.
