Ilhan RefiogluPresident & Chief Executive Officer, SpectraLinear
Dr. Ilhan Refioglu, founder, president and CEO of SpectraLinear has 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Ilhan has spent more than 25 years as a CEO and at other high level executive positions in the industry and has successfully led both private and public companies.
He served as President and CEO of IMI (International Microcircuits Incorporated) from 1995 to 2000. After the acquisition of IMI by Cypress Semiconductor, Ilhan ran the timing technology division (the largest division of the company by volume) until 2005 reporting to President and CEO, T.J. Rodgers. He founded SpectraLinear in 2006. He acquired Cypress’ PC clock division in October 2006, and established SpectraLinear as the largest pure play integrated timing devices company.
Ilhan holds Ph.D. and MSEE degrees in Electrical Engineering. He is married and has two boys.
Greg RichmondVice President of Engineering & Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Greg Richmond is Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer for SpectraLinear and brings over 25 years of integrated circuit design and development experience to the company. He has served as V.P. of Engineering for the timing product lines at Cypress Semiconductor, International Microcircuits Inc. (IMI), and Integrated Circuit Systems (ICS), during which time he successfully managed the development of over 200 high performance timing products. He has eight patents issued or pending in the area of integrated timing circuits and holds an MSEE from Stanford University and BSEE from Walla Walla College.
Arvinder ChadhaVice President of Operations
Mr. Arvinder Chadha is Vice President of Operations for SpectraLinear and brings over 25 years of experience in the area of manufacturing, operations, quality and reliability. Arvinder has served as Director of Operations for the timing division at Cypress Semiconductor, Vice President of International Microcircuits Inc. (IMI), and held various management positions at Exar Corporation. Arvinder holds MS and BS degrees in Engineering from Oregon State University and Jabalpur University in India.
Richard ReiferVice President of Sales
Mr. Richard Reifer is Vice President of Sales for SpectraLinear. Prior to SpectraLinear, Rick was Director of Marketing Operations of the Timing Technology Division of Cypress, where he was responsible for all marketing and business development activities. Rick joined Cypress as a result of the acquisition of IMI by Cypress in 2001. At IMI, Rick was Vice President of Marketing and Sales. During his tenure at IMI, the company expanded its market penetration into the consumer and communication markets, and strengthened its position in the PC clock business with key design wins with the industry leaders in computation. Prior to IMI, he held management positions in various marketing and sales positions at EXAR Corporation. Rick holds a Masters degree from California State University, San Bernardino.
Elie AyacheVice President of Segment Marketing and PC Clock Business Unit
Mr. Elie Ayache is Vice President of Segment Marketing and PC Clock Business Unit for SpectraLinear, where he brings over 20 years of experience in the field. He was formerly Marketing Director of the PC Clock Business Unit at Cypress Semiconductor, where he also did APAC business development for the timing technology division. Before joining Cypress, Elie was Director of Marketing and Applications Engineering at IMI. He pioneered numerous launches of innovative products that were essential to the company’s rapid expansions in all major market segments. Elie spent several years in the area of mixed signal ASIC design where he patented the linear frequency shift doze mode for green applications as well as the power-up bidirectional I/O which are still widely used in the industry today. He also worked in applications engineering for Silicon System. Elie holds a BSEE degree from Santa Clara University.
Robert BylinChief Financial Officer
Mr. Robert Bylin has more than 35 years experience in the high technology industry in both finance and operations roles. Before joining the company in October, 2006, he was an active consultant with several startups in a CFO role. Prior to that, he served as CFO for TAK Imaging, a fabless semiconductor company, COO and CFO for DTI, a professional services company, and CFO for Veridicom, a private fabless semiconductor company which developed and marketed biometric security devices. He also was CFO for Storage Dimensions during their successful IPO. Prior to that he was with Memorex Telex and also spent many years with Fairchild Semiconductor, including three years living in Paris as their European Controller. He holds a BS degree from Trinity College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Today he also serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee for Occam Networks (OCNW), and is on the Board of Directors for Technology Credit Union, where has served for 30 years.
Alex ShkidtDirector of Engineering
Mr. Alex Shkidt is Director of Engineering for SpectraLinear and brings 20 years of mixed signal design talent to the company. While Director of Engineering for Cypress Semiconductor’s timing technology division, he also chaired the analog design review board. Prior to that, he held engineering design and management positions at International Microcircuits Inc. (IMI), Exar Corporation, Elantec, and Teledyne. Alex holds a BSEE from the University of California at Berkeley.
